Description
At Elektrim, a Warehouse Associate’s primary focus includes receiving, picking customer orders, packing, shipping, storing, handling, loading, and unloading of trucks, cycle counting while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. The successful candidate will be an energetic, reliable self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Process, pick, pack, and ship orders accurately
Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
Cycle count inventory
Communicates to Supervisor and or Customer Service on any product related issue that will affect a customer order.
Control and organize storage and inventory space
Inspect product for defects, proper packaging, and labels
Prepare domestic/international shipping documentation and other related paperwork
Keep warehouse cleaned and organized
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures
Completes other duties as assigned in support of larger organization goals.

High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years warehouse experience in an independent environment
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Capable of working independently
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Forklift certification and/or the ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely
Basic math and reasoning skills
Must have the ability to stand for 80% of the workday
Capability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted.
Ability to understand and execute instructions
Ability to operate inventory control equipment: hand-held devices
